You know very well why this post is here. It isn’t even just because you were cowards and denied Jahzeel and Donna that slot to compete. It isn’t even because we texted your little science project reprimanding him for not letting Donna and Jahzeel compete.  You know very well.

We texted Wilzen. )

You hesitated to give them this one chance because you are pathetic and will exhaust every means just to keep yourselves in your position. When, as a matter of fact, they don’t even present any real threat to the society. Heck, just the possibility of another glory year.

English Translation (this is a rough English Translation of that song, to accommodate and impress the English Speaking world). I repeat, ROUGH translation. Blame the semi-lingual in me, that I can not translate a few words. sige nga, translate niyo nga sa English ang PAPAYUNGAN? Ano, I WILL UMBRELLA you? For anyone who can do better, I suggest you take a whack at it:

I.
Is it me that you want to seek shelter in?
Is it me that you want to hold?
Is it my love you want to have?

II.
I'll shelter you
from all the storms that will come
in your life, I'll always be here.

Chorus:
I will try to win your heart
with my love and my umbrella
until I get tired, of waiting for you in the rain.

III.
Is it me that are you feeling for?
Is it me that you are looking for?
I don't know what I mean to you now.

(Chorus 3x)

A little backgrounder: this was the Official Soundtrack of that Film of the same name from the first Arubayan ni Oble film festival.

It seems like I haven't updated in this journal for ages, what with all the things that had to be done over the weekend, the lay-outs I so lovingly wanted to do, the things to be read, the thesis that I had to attend to, and the hometown that I sorely missed, I'm updating now. Because I am a fan of the banalities like that, I'm going to get on with the show.

(dahil i hearts UP Baguio fatally) and if you are a Uinv of Baguio fan, you know this means war!

resolution number one, BROKEN. well, not really. i did not in any conscious way meant to be a sado-masochist here.

I was up to my old self searching blogs about the city i absolutely love when i came across this comment:

don't you ever think for a second that that's true.

Higher than what, my dear? pray tell. Standards of what? better bathrooms? more sports competitions you win? more "influential" business partners who invest in your fvcking institution? because yes, I concede hands down: your bathrooms are better, you win more medals when it comes to fvcking basketball, you have rich clients who invest in that business institution you call a school. my gahd. yes, you are a fucking bigger campus who has a bigger student population, who has more courses than that little school somewhere in Gov Pack Road in Baguio. but it does not in any way prove how better you are in things that really matter when you are a fvcking school. big fucking FvCK, really. because you are a school. not a big gym where there happens to be classrooms. ano ka, University of P.E?

Because at the end of the day, what really matters when you are a school is the quality of education (not bathrooms, nor gyms nor how many students win you beautyfvkcingcontests nor the size of your student population). What matters, when you are a school is the academic standards you live by, the number of students who pass your PRC exams (assuming of course, that their courses requires any), the employability of your student body, etc. THOSE THINGS WHICH A SCHOOL SHOULD FVCKING STRIVE FOR.

University of Baguio? What's that? Isn't that the school which has tarps all over Session rd that says: "It's all up here" (while pointing to the brain) I've said it once, let me say it again: WHAT"S UP WHERE? REALLY? WHAT's ALL that's "UP THERE"? now, don't go telling me they are brains, because darling, that school  has a massive lack of it.

What do they have to show for, really? They don't even make it to any (quarters or octo)finals of ANY regional quiz/debate competitions, whereas those things are dominated by either UP Baguio organizations or yes, even SLU.
When it is a good school, you don't see the fvcking need to advervckingtise. You don't see the need for let's say MMSU in Ilocos to advertise, you don't see SLU in Baguio advertise, you don't see the need for PMMA in San Narciso, Zambales advertise, you don't see UP Diliman, UST, Ateneo, La Salle, Mapua (engineering), FEU, heck you don't even see FATIMA univ advertise anywhere in Fairview. Because they know, at the very least that they have the balls and the credentials to back up their name, and they don't even need to gather as many students to pay for their toilet papers, varsity allowances and the like.

Because let me tell you again, it's all U-P here.

UPBAGUIO, PASIKLABAN NA MAMAYANG GABI. (anxiety issues na ito) If you don't know why, see a few entries back. About the ghost of my past. (tamad kasi akong mag-link ngayon eh)

there has been a very mean email sent to me--and pretty much everyone I know who is from UPB and even some from UP Diliman--in every single one of my public emails (emails which have been listed in ANY website, or is part of any yahoogroup). I don't personally know the girl that has been the stuff of the rumor. I've heard bad things but I am not one to incriminate her. For the most part, I don't really care about her. And I don't care whether a group of frat boys/soro girls/or whatever chose to go revenge of the sith/roommate/aggravated party on her. It is just funny, how even if you don't really know a person, s/he can incite hate you from even without doing so much as opening her mouth.

And it makes me think about all the people I hate popular or not without even giving them so much as a second look. For the most part, I dont even reconsider liking them at all.

So, In the spirit of the holidays, let me enumerate a few people who make me go puke or make me want to roll my eyes and drown myself (this list: the Pinoy celebrity edition)

  • the sexbomb girls. yes, the poster girls for stupidity, kadramahan, kajologan and the likes. The ones which girls with two digit IQs fawn over in the afternoon and model their kids/sisters/alaga/themselves after. Yes, I fvcking hate them (sometimes even more than the crappy Philppine politicians, sometimes even more than global warming.)
  • the band Cueshe. to all fans: correction, none of them are hot, none of them are fvcking talented. their songs are way beyond terrible prose. I dont even know why this people even have fans, but you know wht they say: diffdrent strokes for different folks. too bad the strokes this band has been stroking are the stupid retarded folks, the ones who do not really understand. *cues and sings terribly off key*: lagi na lang umuulan...
  • Katrina Halili. She is a terrible actress, for one she doesn't have any bankable talent. Well except for the talent of pretending to be a fucktard, and pretending to be hot and easily fvckable. If that's a talent, she has lots of it.
  • Angel Locsin. No, shiny boobs aren't required in saving the world, her extra shiny pair of twins won't detach themselves from Darna to help save humanity. So WTH do we need that for? and for crying out loud, who would ever believe that SHE IS NiCE? In a business like showbusiness, there would be no smoke if there is no fire, so if that's the case she s really mean because of all the stupid "fights" she has been too with pretty much everyone and even Jolina Magdangal. Not that i really care.
  • Angelica Panganiban. the Tanduay photoshoot. Deception. enough said.
This five top my list for now. For the most part, the people who make me want to go revenge of the roommate, aren't even celebrities. More on that next time.

and my, can I say I had an incredibly good time.

It felt as if it was like before, as if the lobby, the school grounds were still the same, sure there were different faces: more people to like, more people to hate.

And when I was there, I was happy. I'm still happy now. Feverish because of the trip. So how much was my stay in Baguio? Here it is a little recap for all thos planning for a little "vacation":

Php 200 - for the fare from Tarlac to Baguio (I hitched with my father para mas mura),
50 - for the "lunch" I had sometime at 2:30 in the afternoon
500 - for the room rented for two nights, that's 250 a night,
1250 - for the "tuition fee" for my thesis,
600 - for the fare pabalik (which includes the baon and all the eating during stopovers),
150 - for the Baguio vegetables I had to bring home,
100 - for the transcript of grades, etc,
200 - for Pizza (in Volante) and the cab i took home Monday night,
45 - for Tuesday Lunch,
117 - for the Chowking Dinner,
55 - Lunch sa Canteen,
30 - Dinner kay Manang Pats
50 - isang litro ng tubig at Chippy na green,
40 - Chuckie at Chippy na green ulit,
40 - 2 C2,
300 - for the fare, like Tax cabs and jeepney rides, more on the taxi cabs.

being with Abel and my heart's hometown: PRICELESS.

Enough with the words and the talk,

more photos will be posted, next time. Right now, I have to cooking Dinner or getting some decent sleep.
